Now available - Susie and Jim Mertz introducing Melody - "Blessed!"

bulletSusie and I just released our new Contemporary Gospel CD titled "Blessed!"  This collection of songs will feed, uplift and speak life and healing into your spirit.  It is a testimony of the blessed life that is available to all who have faith in Jesus Christ!  Our daughter, Melody contributed significantly to 6 of the 14 tracks, including one song that she wrote, arranged and sang ("I Don't Need Anything But You").  There are mp3 samples and lyrics on the listen page and you can also order the cd on that page.  The cd is also currently available at Homer's (1210 Howard St. or 2457 So. 132nd St.) and will soon be available on-line at CD Baby.  You can now download the entire album or single tracks at Apple iTunes and CD Baby.

Here is a list of more CDs:

bullet"I Give It All To You" - samples from each track are on my listen page.  It includes special guest contributions from anointed instrumentalists Chad Stoner (sax) and Terence Bailey (guitar) - and several anointed vocalists - my wife, Susie, David Newson, JMH, Elaine Stoner, Camille Metoyer Moten, my daughter, Melody, and gospel rapper H.G. Filled.
bullet"Instrumentals for Meditation, Healing, and Peace" - music inspired by the Psalms and is an extension of the "Psalms" project.  I pray that it will provide for the listener exactly what the title says
bullet"Psalms (Vol. 1 - Ps. 1-30)" is a collaboration with Lanette Moore.  Lanette is reading the Psalms and I composed music as the Psalms ministered to me to accompany her anointed reading.  More detailed info and samples are on the Psalms page on this site.
bullet"Make The Best Of It" (samples on the listen page) which includes an instrumental remake of Earth, Wind & Fire's "That's The Way Of The World."  This CD features special guests Jeff Coffin (saxophonist with the Grammy Award winning group, Bela Fleck and currently with Dave Matthews Band), guitarist Ron Cooley (Fresh Air/Manheim Steamroller), trumpeter Mike Gurciullo and JMH.

Listed below are some additional completed projects - it was a great blessing for me to be involved with all of these projects and I have greatly enjoyed the fellowship time while working together with each of these artists, groups, and friends throughout the recording process!
